Hi! We’re Matt & Laurel! We’ve been a couple in love since 2014, and working together professionally as musicians since 2015. We fell for each other quickly after swiping right on #tinder, but it wasn’t until a few months in that we realized we had something special with our music too. Growing up in musical families, Matt and I both knew music was our passion. We felt a calling, but struggled individually to get there. Together though, things changed. We found a certain kind of support that was missing, and the link to make our passion and dreams come to life. 

Since meeting we’ve built our music business into something we’re extremely proud of. We’re a premier acoustic duo in the Twin Cities working over 200 shows a year across the Midwest. We feature acoustic guitar and lead vocals by both of us, and cover some of our favorite songs from over 9 decades of music, plus original tunes. We love taking songs you wouldn’t ever imagine an acoustic duo doing, and doing it! Who says you can’t do Lizzo, Nelly or Metallica with just an acoustic guitar and vocals! We also love throwing it back to the classics, stripping things down and just singing. There’s also a little humor in our shows! We love to make you laugh, and being husband and wife offers plenty of material to make our shows unique and fun. 

We’ve been so lucky to work with some incredible venues and clients, and truly love being able to share our love of music with you. Our goal has always been to make people feel something with our music. We want to invoke an emotion in you. Because if you feel more, you’ll understand more; If you understand more, you’ll have more empathy; And if you have more empathy, you’ll feel more connected to the world around you. We hope after reading a little more about us, you can feel the depths of our passion and drive to share our music with the world.
